Use a hand blender in a non-stick pan only when the blender’s instructions and the cookware’s care guidance support that combination. A metal blending foot can contact the coating, and a guard is only useful when it is the correct part, fitted properly and kept in good condition.
A replacement blender cup must match the appliance’s approved system, not just the visible thread or brand logo. Check the model on the motor base, the cup part number and the compatible blade assembly before ordering. A cup that screws on is not proof that it is safe to blend.
A blender’s advertised jug capacity is only the starting point. The useful batch depends on its working fill mark, the type of food and whether there is enough mixture to circulate. Choose a size that covers your regular recipe without making every small portion an awkward job.
Choose a blender jug as part of the machine it belongs to, then compare how that complete assembly will work in your kitchen. Glass and plastic both appear in manufacturer-designed systems. The material name alone does not tell you the permitted temperature, useful capacity or cleaning method.
Nut butter needs a blender designed to keep a dense mixture moving. Before buying, find a nut-butter recipe or explicit approval in the manufacturer’s instructions for the exact container. A machine that chops nuts for a topping is not automatically suitable for turning them into a smooth spread.
For ice crushing, look for explicit instructions that permit ice in the container you will use. The important details are the maximum ice quantity, cube preparation, whether liquid is required and the approved programme. A high wattage figure cannot supply any of those missing instructions.
